What a great hockey game it was when the Wings and Ducks came together today at the Joe. The wings proved they were the better team today by winning 4-1 in a game that many people say could be what clinches the series. According to FSD, over 70% of the teams that win game 5 usually win the series which makes me and a bunch of other wings fans happy and hopeful! The Wings clearly out played the Ducks by out shooting them and by winnings the important face offs which clearly frustrated the Ducks.
Johan Franzen was the first to score in the game by a nice shot off the crossbar and the wings never looked back, holding the lead through out the game. Darin Helm got his first goal as a Red Wing and it really shows how good of a player he really is by having recorded the most hits in the playoffs for the Wings when he usually only plays less then 10 minutes. I really can't wait for the puck to drop in game 6 to see how the Ducks come to play and hopefully watch the Wings advance to the next round!
